Divine Love

There’s a pull between us—

I feel it so strong—

a rhythm, a heartbeat

that’s been mine all along.

My body moves closer,

my soul knows his name;

my mind finds its quiet

the moment he came.

I push him away,

but he pulls me in—

holds me so close,

my heart starts to spin.

He never lets go,

no matter the day;

he gathers my fears

and melts them away.

He whispers so softly,

“Be happy, my dear… even without me”

How can I fight love

that’s gentle and clear?

He never is harsh,

never cuts, never breaks—

he answers my storms

with a calm that remakes.

He teases with glances,

with words that ignite—

a smile that turns

my whole world into light.

One look from him warms me,

sets sparks in my day;

with him every shadow

just drifts far away.

I wait every morning

to hold his warm hand,

a peace in his touch

I can’t understand.

Even far from my side,

his presence is near—

I feel him in silence,

I breathe him in air.

When his eyes fall on me,

I feel endlessly seen—

like I’m beauty and light and everything clean.

He holds me with patience,

with tenderness true—

a love built on steady,

and sacred,

and new.

What we have isn’t ordinary,

isn’t simple or small—

it rises like prayer,

it answers my call.

A blessing,

a promise,

a gift from above—

a quiet,

eternal,
