THE DETECTIVE'S FAILED MISSION;

JANVIER, AVRIL, JUIN and JULIE were in the Fun Down Library across from their school for school project, when Janvier found a mystery looking book.

Janvier; Everyone! guess what I found,..

Everyone; what have you got?!

Janvier; A mysterious book with a very interesting symbol.

Avril; A mysterious book?

Let me see, I am really great with mysteries.

( Avril reads the book)

Avril; Oh!, Okay, wow!

Juin; Haha!. what is so interesting about this you call mysterious book? Honestly, I think it is a waste of time, should we just find something else?

Julie; Shh! Don't interrupt Avril.

It is a detective's book,.. said Avril.

It is from a detective that solved alot

Crimes but each gets more mysterious than the other, actually one of them is called untouchable mystery.. continues Avril.

What does that mean? Julie Asked.

It's the mystery which no one could solve, he was the only & last hope but he failed the mission, gave up & quit in despair

How sad & unfortunate;..continued Julie.

Janvier; How about we solve the case and take up that as our project?

Avril; You are right.

Juin; In that case, if we are going ahead with this,let us find the detective and solve the case with him.

Everyone; Alright, let's find him.

With all their determination, they took their savings, went to a cyber shop and printed posters notifying anyone who knows about the detective's whereabouts to let them know.

After a long day,

I'm so tired of this mystery, Juin being Juin

complained.

Come on, this is for our project remember, said Janvier.

It's just some A's, B,s& C's nothing special,..Juin continued with her complaints.

Julie; imagine hitting two birds with one stone, getting answers to the case & finalizing our project.

Avril; everyone, I found the detective.

Are you sure?, everyone asked.

Avril; Yes, He lives in an apartment next to us.

They all looked at each other and ran to the apartment to confirm if it was really true.

All together, excitedly knocking at the detective's door.

A few seconds later,..

The door opened..

The detective; Hello & why are you all banging at my door?

Julie; Hi sir, my name is Julie & these are my friends, sorry for disturbing you we couldn't help it, if we can have a minute of your time..

The detective paused abit, okay how can I help you?

Julie; Can we kindly come in?

Even before the detective could answer, they all went in.

The detective; ooh sure, in that case you all feel free & get yourselves comfortable.

Now, what can I do for you???

Avril, as she started explaining, the others had already started exploring the room, there were so many books & paper work everywhere.,

Avril continued; we bumped into a case and we've discovered you are the detective who had taken over the case.. we need your help on this case, you get to close the case& get to finish our school project, a win win she added,..

The detective; sorry I can't help you , I already tried & failed...

AVRIL; please give it another chance, you have us now to help out.

Fine, we start tomorrow. the detective said.

HOORAY! Everyone got so excited, their enthusiasm motivated the detective, as they all got up & headed to their messy dorm..

Juin; It's very late and we are all tired, so we will clean this mess in the morning.

Next morning,...

Janvier; woke up reaching for her watch, Girls, It's

5:00am , remember we have classes in two hours.

Ooh I'm still sleepy and tired, I skip the class today..Juin said;

Avril; Then you will miss a lot.

A special guest will be attending our history class.

Juin; Fine, I'm coming only for history class.

Two hours later,....

They arrived for history class, to their surprise.

Hello class! The Detective greeted the class..

Today is a special day, we have a case to solve. Their shock at seeing the detective ( special guest) was amazing.. and these four girls will be helping. He added..

Why not all of us? The whole class asked?

Because these girls took the initiative to find the answers.. so it's just fair as they have committed themselves to it.

After the class, the detective gathered the girls to make the plan & arrangements

As they continued going through the paper work, it happened that the detective had missed a very important information..and so the girls kept seeking..and to their surprise, they discovered there was a hidden camera in area where the incident happened, to their surprise one notorious boy in their class happened to be caught in the act..

Right away, the detective called the police, and because the notorious boy heard the about the news after missing the class, he went ahead in search of that book so can destroy the evidence.

As the book was with the girls, he followed them in an attempt to snatch the girls bag not knowing the police had been looking for him after he got caught on camera.

In a blink of an eye, the police siren came out of nowhere.. he got surrounded in an instant by the police, and because the girls had played a part in solving the case, the detective went ahead,

take the lead girls...

Go ahead.

AVRIL; YOU ARE UNDER ARREST young man; for illegal use of gasoline and starting a fire in the city.

HAPPY 2026 in Prison, the girls said in unison.

The police took him away.

Two days after the girls submitted their project and passed with distinction.

They went back to the detective to thank him and share the good news.

And just like;

The Detective and the girls declared the "CASE CLOSED"
