How dare I say
That you haven’t done anything for me
of course I made the notes
behind your textbooks
whispering those sweet nothings
wet kisses on your cheek
unintentional flirts
the back hugs
we used to love it all
but those brutal slaps
the hurtful sarcasm
unhealthy language used
and forever broken trust
you took it all like a man
how dare I say
that you haven’t done anything for me
when you have seen
the ugliest side of love for me
and even if you are not here to tell me
your absence is more than required
to narrate it to me
