He lied to her

He cheated on her

He betrayed her

But what happens when you

Become the traitor

When whatever twisted desire

Of one's self you've aquired

Or the need

to please every soul you

Come across

Makes your feet

Tread at great speed

Towards that pile of stone

Searching for the perfect one

As to sharpen your knife

Thinking all will be well

That they'll be no strife

But you can't keep everyone happy

Someone has to pay

The weapon you've created

Needs flesh to be planted in

It'll be me, I'll trip and fall

So you say

As long as she has a smile

And he thinks I'm running the mile

But that thought is the most vile

As it causes you to take the fruit you cherish most

And skin it raw just when it decided to land in your basket

Yes you are who Olivia wrote about

And he is who she wrote it for

You turned this safety into a casket

Except you do feel sorry,

The most you've ever been

But when you realized

The magnitude of your demize

It's too late

His back hurt your knife as he fell

down

Now all you can do is to sit there and drown

Not in your tears but the gallons of his blood

If only you had the capability of saying

no

It would not be on your hands
