Close yet so far away

Original Submission by Aaisha Rilwan

Close yet so far away

You seem to be so close yet so far

This feeling so distant like the star

But who am I really to complain

When you are not even mine to begin with

All this time being with me

Yet you still had to leave

And I can’t even make you to stay

Coz I am just a puppet in your play

Why did you had to be so cruel

When all you were to me was crucial

But now I’ll stop holding on to you

Coz I know I am bound to loose

Now that I am free from you

Peace is all that I have known

And If I knew letting you go, was gonna cost me none

I would have done it long ago, and lived my life filled with fun.
