Search into waiting

I'm not writing at all.

I speak but don't write.

I have no muse.

I'm searching for something yet waiting for it.

My words are keys I don't want to use, for fear of breaking them.

Wrong door, wrong key.

The game has left me.

The drive has disappeared, retreating into darkness.

Awaiting light.

Emotional turmoil used to be the call of the day,

but now my emotions and thoughts are spread thin.

Doing too much, moving excessively.

Understand that the fire will always burn; I'm just not feeding it.

The flame represents a life that could be but isn't as of now.

To write words of sense, let me sit with a dictionary.

To write with emotion, let me experience the setback that puts me back in the driving seat.
