Radio Silence

Two weeks fly by

Along with your voice as it seems

Cat caught your tongue or something

You have been radio silent

All a hear is frequency

Of what could have been said

The what if’s of your voice

I guess I gotta put my heart on ice

Just to ease the pain

If this is silent treatment

I very much ace at that trick

But I built myself brick by brick

And won’t let you knock me down

Even as the dawn appears

I shall face the light and the silence

The radio silence speaks louder than your voice could ever speak

So I take a step back

Just so I move forward
