You are too pleasing to gaze

Can’t keep my eyes off, of you

You switch off my senses of everything

I find it difficult to look away

Please, what sort of spell have you, over me

What sorcery have you done to my mind

Unable to concentrate on anything other than you

You smile and my heart smiles right back

The electrifying energy when our eyes lock

You smile and my soul feels whole

Your laughter quiets every storm within,

A melody my heart has learned by memory.

Time forgets to move whenever you’re near,

As though the world itself pauses to admire you.

Every glance you give rewrites my day,

Every word you speak lingers long after the silence.

If this is enchantment, let it never fade,

For I have no desire to be set free.

I’d rather remain a willing captive

In the warmth of your presence,

Where every heartbeat whispers your name,

And every tomorrow begins with the hope

Of seeing your smile once again.
