Nothing is certain ( For Jade )
A mother….
Taken far too soon
From her children, oh so small.
Not given the chance to see them grow;
A mother so suddenly gone.
A father….
Consumed with grief,
Yet he must remain strong
For his children, who need him;
A father all alone.
Two young children….
Forced to grow up
Without her guidance,
Without her arms to hold them tight;
Two children young and lost.
A family….
So cruelly torn apart.
How do they pick up the pieces?
How do they go on?
A family; altered forever.
Nothing is certain in this life,
Except that one day, we will all die.
