No Matter What

Love is something special

From one heart to another

To feel it’s warm sensation

Is something like no other

A mother to her baby

A brother to a sister

When you need some comfort

When you need a listener

A bond that can’t be shattered

Powerful and strong

Can make someone feel wanted

And know that they belong

It isn’t always easy

In fact some days it’s hard

To open up your feelings

To learn to drop your guard

To know that you’re protected

To know they’ve got your back

To fix you when you’re broken

To seal up any crack

I am very lucky

To know how much they care

To know how much they love me

A sentiment we share

Its richer than you realize

Deeper than a cut

For its always and forever

And that’s no matter what
