My mind and me

We can be our worst enemy

Especially if we let our thoughts be

There is no room for silence

And overthinking is constantly

My mind and me

Are actually we

Yet sometimes one tends to play boss

And tells the other how to be

It’s not what you see

Rather what you hear

The crazy thoughts up here

Those are the ones I fear

Yet my mind and me

Are my personality
