God-fearing, loyal and loving

Are words I ascribe to you.

Effective and so much to the point,

A description oh so true!

Your God comes first above all else,

His work, you choose to do.

No matter how much the load may weigh,

It’s never too heavy for you.

Your independence is a light,

For all of us to see.

You show us how to live each day

Trusting in God’s mercy.

You have so many talents,

You’ve shared with young and old.

Just watching you has made us proud,

Of being sculptured from your mould.

A hug, a kiss or just an ear,

We’ll always get from you.

Too tired, too busy or too weak,

Are things we’ll never hear.

So now dear Mom, it is our turn

To say these words to you,

We love you oh so very much

And appreciate all you do!
