Misses

I miss it all very much,

The shoulder rubs and the twirls.

The light pecks upon my cheeks,

The times you called me your girl.

I wish I can still hear those words,

The nicknames you made for me.

I rolled my eyes when you said them,

But inside I was filled with glee.

Sometimes I close my eyes,

And remember how darling you were.

The way your eyes sparkled brightly,

All I had to do was just be near.

Though we are still together,

And our love has kind of matured.

I still look back and wish we can have

What we always thought was assured.

I miss you so very much,

I miss our carefree days.

But I know this with clarity,

That it will not always be this way.

And though I wish you hugged me more,

And gave me random kisses.

I will keep the thoughts inside of me,

And hope you can feel all my misses.
