Midnight religion

You were my prayer on a wicked floor,

Every kiss a confession, beggin’ for more.

A sermon of sweat, breath, and skin,

Sin that I’d gladly die within.

You made a temple out of bed,

A scripture in the things we said.

Each moan, a chant; each touch, divine—

You baptized me by tracing every line .

We didn’t fake it, didn’t pose,

Just bled in rhythm, eyes half-closed.

No altar needed, no dark to defend

Just body praise and breath again.

I felt you deeper than my fears,

Like whispered sins in open ears.

I’m enraptured by you and if this stays—

I’d worship you for endless days.

So we say no vows, don’t make a plea,

But damn, you brought everything out of me

I’m not denying, I might just sin again—

If heaven sounds like you, then thank god, amen.
