Men Don’t Cry

Once I had this thought inside my own head.

What could be the true tale of a tear we shed.

A common thing for the once who are not dead.

But if a man cries, tons of things will be said.

A girl who cries is letting her feelings go out.

So she could hear words of calm without a doubt.

But a man who cries will surely be taken out.

His pride and flair will be questioned in doubt.

Men don’t cry is what they made us follow.

But what about the deepest pains which makes us hollow.

And the times we wished that someone said hello.

If we do so they will think that we are mellow.

“Silent cries” is the only hand we could hold.

And it is not enough for our stories to be unfold.

If they give us the freedom to cry until we beat the cold.

Then, books made from our pain will surely be out sold.
