We Can’t still be Friends

Why didn’t you come? She asked me.

Why didn’t you reply? She raised the

questions in silence, as confused was she.

And I replied things happened just let it be.

We mixed and matched our lives back then.

Wrote the same words using the same pen.

A love was not what we had between us.

But a bond so deep which we gave a ten plus.

I would gladly say that I have moved on.

And do not hear your voice when I’m alone.

Can act like I never knew you were born.

But yet in a while I will feel your tone.

I will try to run but my both legs are tied.

The tales were true I did not tried.

Doing my best to distant you from my sight.

Until I prove that you were not right.
