Man of muis?

Daar kom die hele tyd nuwe bloukolle

op my liggaam by.

Ek voel soos 'n muis in vergelyking

met die dinge wat hulle houe inkry.

Dalk is dit ou woorde wat tussen ons val

en die skerwe wat spat;

stukke beland teen my broek

en glip dwarsdeur my hart.

Miskien is dit die soene

wat my huid pers kneus;

'n paar sagte lippe teen my pols

en jou valkoë wat my lyf volledig kan lees.
