Love Forgives Time for Passing

Love forgives Time for passing

And I have proof it’s true.

It’s in reaching out to a friend

After three months of not talking

And somehow,

It feels like it's only been two weeks.

It’s when you think your friends forget about you

After life sweeps you off your feet

And you’re too exhausted to respond to anything

And realize you’ve ghosted them for a week.

But at the end of the day,

They still catch up with you

Remember your coffee order

Know how to make you laugh until you can’t breathe

And all you can do is apologize

And all they can respond is it’s okay

Because deep inside they know.

They care.

They love.

And as long as Love lives on,

It will always forgive Time for passing.
