Life Of The Arrogant

The arrogant,

Will remain so,

For they continue,

To feed their ego.

They thrive on,

Being important,

Because of title or wealth,

Or at times both.

For those they deem,

Are beneath them,

They are treated with disdain,

And often disregarded.

For those above them,

Who they have an agenda with,

They treat them,

Like Lords and Ladies.

Sincerity does not exist,

In their vocabulary,

But what can others,

Do for them.

So be it,

For they will only change,

If the deem the need to,

Hopefully for the better.
