कौन हो तुम ?

औरो में जो रत रहता है ,औरत वो कहलाता है ,

जिसमें बल, साहस, पौरुष हो,

पुरुष वही बन जाता है ।

पुरुषों जैसे दिखने वालों, झूठा अहम तुम्हारा है ,

क्या तुम इतने स्वतंत्र, पूर्ण हो

एकांत तुम्हें गवारा है ?

अपने मन में झाँक लो पहले ,फिर उत्तर दे देना तुम,

क्या बाहरी आवरण तय करता है , औरत हो या पुरुष हो तुम ?

औरत जैसी दिखने वाली औरत ख़ुद को मान रही ,

अपमानों को सहन तू करके , झूठे भ्रम को पाल रही ,

आत्मशक्ति जो दमित हुई है , उसे यदि अपना ले तू ,

पौरुष का करके श्रृंगार , पुरुष- उपाधि पा ले तू।

ईश्वर दो भिन्न व्यक्तित्वों को , उतार धरा पर लाता है ,

पर स्त्री- पुरुष की परिभाषा वो , निज कर्मों से पाता है ।
