In ons verbondenheid
As my bene eendag uitgee,
en my hande ophou skryf
Sal ek al my digbundels verkoop
vir ń plekkie hier langs jou.
Sal jy nog vir my lees
as ek vir jou kook,
waar ons in ons verbondenheid
saggies in mekaar kan dryf?
Sal jy my hand dan liggies soen,
en my dra in hierdie gang?
Ons kan dans op die berg waar die son sak
en stilletjies langs mekaar vergaan
