Title: Illusion, Yours Truly

Possessions–

the illusion of wealth

is enough.

Makeup, filter–

the illusion of beauty

is enough.

To be chosen, to belong–

the illusion of love

is enough.

Because when would enough

actually be… enough?

“Sky’s the limit,” they say

and so

the illusion of it

becomes enough

So who am I

to call anyone fake

when the illusion of it all

“is enough

…indeed”

The truth is illusion

and illusion is…

the truth.
