His Gift of Grace (Song)

When your burdens, heavy laden,

Sap all your strength and wear you down.

All out of expectations,

So Heartbroken, no hope is found;

Your legs knocked out from underneath you,

You’re left lying where you land.

Helpless and forsaken,

Too ashamed to crawl, too weak to stand.

God is waiting, arms wide open,

To wrap you in His warm embrace,

To strengthen, heal you, give you hope and

Give to you His Gift of Grace.

You have someone rooting for you.

It’s not over. You’re not alone.

Cry out, “Father! God I need you!

I can’t make it on my own!

I’m so twisted, so conflicted

Made bad choices along the way!

I’m corrupted, soul convicted!

Let myself be led astray.”

God is waiting, arms wide open

To wrap you in His warm embrace,

To strengthen, heal you, give you hope and

Give to you His Gift of Grace.

Say, “God forgive me! I’m so sorry!

I’m broken! I am weak!”

He’ll support you, fight for you,

Waiting only for you to speak.

God so loves you, He sent His Son to

Be a Holy Sacrifice.

Crucified. He chose to die.

For all man’s sin He paid the price.

God is waiting, arms wide open,

To wrap you in His warm embrace,

To strengthen, heal you, give you hope and

Give to you His Gift of Grace.

Resurrected. With the Father.

Death defeated. God made a way.

You believe in God’s Son, Jesus,

And what He did for you that day,

You’ll be forgiven, newly living,

From sin and death, be set free.

And God will guide you, stay beside you

Throughout all eternity.

God is waiting, arms wide open,

To wrap you in His warm embrace,

To strengthen, heal you, give you hope and

Give to you His Gift of Grace.
