HIGH SCHOOL

The memories will be remembered, filled with shouting and screaming, lined in a row full of children and their wall-like head tops.

The indecisive wind leaves us in the unwanted heat,

as the teacher yapped away in the loud classroom, trying to find attention from the bickering children.

The students outside fight for revenge, like a madman fighting his dream. The taste of the canteen food is still lingering after robbing me of my taste buds.

A few girls in the back were enjoying their meal but had no permission to eat. The others, refusing to make their lips go dry, rubbed just a little more lip balm atop the tenth layer.

They snort at something entertaining like a quiet student minding their own. Maybe it will be just as entertaining to me if I applied three buckets of wax onto my scalp and brushed it in real nicely.

Some were requesting bathroom breaks, but not to do their hair. No, never! But, I could swear I saw the tail of a comb poking out their pockets!

But, don’t look for long, or they’ll forget the functions of eyes.

And hear something nice like, “A weh ya look pan mi fa?”.

The Memories Will Be Remembered.
