1. Sound of Lake Huron

Why was there a sound by the lake?

The winds brought the water waves up ashore

Water waves made contact with the land around

Why were there some winds?

Heard gradient air pressure causes winds

Why was there a gradient?

To set up a driving force for mass transfer

Why was there a need for a driving force?

Looks like reading more about it could help,

Well, time was man made some where

Time required compliance and a skeptic

Time was born out food someone ate

Time was not a thought, until it was time

Time was something else before language

Time was once chaos without a society

Time was someone’s brain child somewhere

Time seems linear or not, just the same

Time bound, we are

2. Music Refugee

With boundaries made up of water droplets,

Poetry and music for creatures alive,

Sound of music or silence is godly

For music wasn’t possible without an observer

An observer could be blind or otherwise from any species alive

In a quiet wholesome music home

Remained strong to serve in some capacity

Write to find peace for another day

A music refugee made for a poem someday

3. Pencil Over an Ear

An honest carpenter couldn't find a place

To put a pencil some place

Showed to work on time with palpable zest

Time to spot the best from the rest

No fancy toolboxes to store a pencil

A writer came along to meet a carpenter

Borrowed his pencil from over his ear

To exchange notes to make for a poem

Found a fine sharp pencil over a carpenter’s ear

4. A Wholesome Citadel

A citadel was a University place

People came everywhere and played together

Try to build something that benefits nature

Inadvertently to pamper relativistic dreams

Critical thinking tested and applied

Oh look, an old man passed by,

Wasn’t looking for any help,

A wholesome citadel smile on his face

For people lived long and prospered

5. An Electric Universe

Mama bear was alive, live and a red wire

Papa bear was alive, live and a grounded wire

A baby came by some day and was loved

In an electric Universe with an obsession for a ball

Was another baby that was ahead of a time

Broke a knee playing ball in college

A child that counted numbers,

Better than a red wire for a laugh

Source of counting was from the grounded wire

A nice little electric circuit to make a nuclear family

6. Holy Water

Found some water to look at

For it was another cracking day

Blessed with sight and bless the ones without

Took a day off from wrestling with the gods

Found the joy in writing again

Ripped through gravity to be kind

Found a beast to spread love from within

To find grace was always a prayer

For a mysterious world, remained a pristine one

7. Breathing Frequency

While learning to breathe in time,

While learning to play a harmonica,

Anxiety causes a sound that’s shrill,

Buying time while breathing was letting peace go by,

Time bought hit a note on time,

Peace when time was bought or not,

Creative accuracy for a sociable time,

With distractions and trouble sometimes,

Found a pen to write another poem for a day

8. Poem Refinery

Guilt in anticipation was a harsh critic

Caution is a harmless way of life

Reference points for a relative world seem inevitable

When mind is matter, mind over matter is unlikely

Why vouch for peace?

Recipients of consumer goods and services,

Produced by people from different faiths,

For acceptable amounts of secular behaviour was necessary

To shell out respect and keep love for the remains

9. Nonchalant Persistence

A friendly reminder to tread with love

Evening came by with a face of relentless doubt

Wrote poetry to keep company with a piano

Another attempt to create art for the love of cursive writing

Scornful jungle with creatures and struggle

Found a way to keep it clean

With nonchalant persistence to write again

To pay for a back bone or a snooker table

10. A Poetry Competition

Would a poetry book need an edge?

To stand out outside in the rain?

To gain a spike in demand or to spend time,

So what created a spike to deliver entertainment value?

A source of relatively unusual travel experiences,

What was relative about it?

Random time travel along random co-ordinates,

Fortunes to stay alive and compose poems,

Go on, what was unusual about it?

An assumption to keep “sanity” some company
