Pagi ini,

Lara bertopengkan tawa

Nestapa diselindung jenaka

Duka disarung bahagia

Tenang menutupi kepala

Sudah bersedia aku mengembara.

Malam ini,

Keempukan meresap kesakitan

Hanya bertemankan cengkerik

Mengadu tangisan jiwa

Berbalas kebingitan suara

Malam ini,

Kesejukan bisa diselimuti,

Keperitan turut menumpang,

Mata inginku pejam,

Fikiran menafikan tingkah.

Pagi itu,

Berulang kisah semalam,

Semalam yang takkan berubah,

Berubah dari kisah kelmarin.
