Fears I Rebuke You

How dare you come!

You come in my way

As a slithering snake

Ready to wrap my neck

Wrap me in a tight grip

So tight I can't escape

I rebuke you in Jesus name!

You have no power!

No control over me

I am strong in Jesus name

I will not suffer

I will not be controlled by you anymore

You tell me I can't

He tells me I can

You tell me I'm not strong

He tells me 'My power is made strong in weakness'

You tell me I can't do it

He tells me I can do all things through Him

Who are you but a loser?

Chasing me around singing your vice like songs

Trapping me in my head

Singing I can't

But I know

‘Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world’

God makes all things new

He is renewing me

Making me new

Making me like him

Who will I fear?

I have Him

He holds me in His arms

Under His wings

Safe and secure I am

Nothing to fear

Unclasp me from your snake like grip

You scream in terror

The light in me is greater than the dark

No fear in me for love conquers and I am made perfect in love

So goodbye you loser

I am in control

Fear is gone and I am free

I am free indeed

By the blood of the lamb

Free indeed
