When you said you love me

I couldn't process that affection

Years of denial made my heart lose its tastebuds

I ran out of tears during the drought

Yet for the first time, they sprung forth when I laid my head on your chest

You were the scissor that cut off the rope I was hanging onto

Now I've fallen for you

You saw me clear like I was a spirit in a seance

Being drawn to you is like our blood drawing out to form a string weaved together

If I lose you, I'll bleed out

When we're close, hands folded

I felt my heart tethered to yours

Our beats were synchronized

The moment we kissed

The moment I closed my eyes and gazed into your soul

That was when I crashed onto the surface

Yet I realized this is more than a crush
