Faeloria – fay lor ee ah

(N.) the beauty that grows from wounds you thought would destroy you

As I lay in the yard you left me in and

I begin to water the grass with the blood of my guilt

Wondering if there is any solution to the problems that were not my fault

Trying to pinpoint where it was that you viewed me as wrong

As I lay in the silence you left me in and

I am still, with the regret of my words

Contemplating who I have become and why she is a lot like you

Hoping to fix the mistakes I did not make

As I lay in the bed you left me in and

I cannot sleep with my mind running on a full tank

Of racing insecurities, you pulled over and fined

Concluding with the idea that I am not worth repairing

As I lay bleeding in the field you left me in

I decided I am stuck leaking pain that is not mine

Wishing I can be healed praying you will heal me

Yet instead, I am fooled by the faulty promise of me

Saving me from the mistakes you made from the high

Expectations you forced, from all the times you made me

Lay bleeding in a field you tend.
