ETERNAL DEPARTURE

You are there.

So far yet I still can feel you,

Even if I closed my eyes I still can see you,

Your scent lingers on, a sweet embrace,

Like mist in every breath, you fill the space.

But is that you?

Faking the smile,

Hiding the sorrow,

Wearing a mask of joy concealing despair,

Hoping you could replace the pain with something other than disappointment.

You are real.

Unknowing my life are cracks that bind,

I'm glad to see a piece of bliss had finally found me.

Your spirit stands tall, your purpose is clear.

With every small step on this journey,

Know that your value is not up for debate.

In every corner where the darkness lay,

I thought I found the light, but I was wrong.

It was the light that finally found me.

You found me.
