Title: Do We Truly Have Each Other

Day and night,

Night and day.

When did it begin,

When will it fade away?

Awake and asleep,

To feel and to drift.

When the day grows heavy,

See how I slip into dreams.

Yet I tremble

At the thought of the final slumber.

And I wonder –

Do we truly have each other?

Do you search for me

In every waking moment?

Do you miss me

In every drifting night?

If I hadn’t wished for it

With all my heart,

Perhaps I wouldn’t

Fear it this much
