The book. The brush. The pen and paper.

There is familiarity with you all.

I know you.

But

Perhaps you do not know me.

Anymore.

Perhaps I am the stranger.

You were once happy to hold my creations.

There was no purpose behind it.

Creation for creation’s sake.

It is what children are best at.

Yet today.

I want to shove all my pain into you

And I hope you would break and ooze with monetary gain.

But such is not your nature.

And perhaps you hurt too much.

And that is why you escape me.
