Coming Together

People everywhere,

Across the globe,

Across every continent,

Let us come together.

We are various shapes and sizes,

We are of various colours,

We are of various cultures,

But we have one thing in common.

We are all human beings,

By virtue of that,

Let us come together,

And create a better world.

Connectivity today,

Can be done in an instant,

Without being in a space,

In person but virtually.

We may begin as strangers,

But over time,

We become sisters and brothers,

One global family.

We need to claim back,

The rights of the masses,

Instead of allowing the minority,

To dictate our future.

Let us be discerning,

Let us make informed decisions,

Let us take responsibility for our choices,

Because we can and we must.

Call me a dreamer,

Call me a blind optimist,

Call me whatever you want,

I choose to be so.
