Art

The beauty of art can never be

Truly measured, nor can its importance

To me, art is a different language

Used to communicate and express myself.

The prep work, the thought process

The time, the money, the details.

I sit in my chair staring at my canvas

Wondering what my crazy mind

Is going to come up with next

Looking at my brushes and the

different colours that I’ve got to choose from

Creative liberties right?

Have you ever looked at a painting

And analysed it your own way

Like looking through a lens

You ask someone else how

they see it and it seems

They’re wearing completely different glasses than you

Art is a complicated thing you know

You never know what the end result might be you know

Just trusting the process

Holding your brush,

Your colours, your canvas

Just moving where your feelings take you

History has proven how erratic art is,

most parents are reluctant to allow

their kids to study something that

Might not provide them a living.

And latest be honest, calling it your passion doesn’t exactly change the truth

Some of the greatest artists known today

only got their recognition after death

All their passion, all their hard work

Never seemed to spark delight

Until all hope was lost

It's quite sad really

How something s symbolic and beautiful

Never got its recognition

Simply because Art, is open to interpretation
