A Writer’s Mind

Don’t compliment a writer, be concerned

Poets deserve to be discerned

Writers don’t “just write”

They experience… they contrite…

The inside of a writer’s mind should never be opened

What would you find anyway… it’s all broken

As poets…

Do we write to remember

Or to forget?

Do we write to feel it deeper

Or to let it go?

Do we write to express ourselves

Or let it out in disguise?

Ever ponder why poets write?

Or do we write to make it right…?
