A Note

I don't see beauty in you because your are skinny, or you hair is blonde

I don't see beauty in you because of your long legs or your slim waist

I see beauty in the way you walk,

Full of spirit and joy

Full of confidence and strength

I see beauty when you dance

The way it awful yet you continue

The way it is free and joyful

I see beauty in your smile,

When your nose scrunches from pure joy

The way your eyes sparkle right before they close

I see beauty in your eyes,

In their depth, like they hold the wisdom of a thousand years

In their spirit, like a child before they learn of the horrors of the world

I don't see beauty in your pretty eyebrows, or your tanned skin

I don't see beauty in your button nose or your full lips

For that is not who you are.

You are your thoughts, beliefs and opinions

You are your memories

You are everything thing you've ever experienced and more

Because you are not your body

You are your soul, and it's beautiful.
