1. The 5 Poems

1.Appearance Vs Reality

Appearance veils the truth,

Wisdom's sword cuts with subtle youth.

Humility's key unlocks the heart,

Second chances bloom, a brand new start.

Wise fool's turban, prince's daughter's hand,

Symbolize humility's gentle stand.

Fool's wisdom whispers secrets low,

Prince's daughter's disdain slowly lets go.

Appearance deceives with clever guise,

Reality reveals with gentle, loving eyes.

Fool's heart shines bright, like diamond rare,

Prince's daughter's soul, flower blooming fair.

Wise fool's words, a sword of gentle might,

Cut through ignorance, new luminous light.

Prince's daughter heart, garden locked away,

Opens to love's key, in a brand new day.

Through life's trials, we find our way,

True beauty shines, come what may.

Appearance fades, like morning dew,

Heart's beauty remains, forever true.

Beyond appearance, true light shines bright,

Guiding forth, through life's plodding night.

Soul's spark glows, like ember's gentle fire,

Illuminating life's path, love's heart's desire.

2. Set yourself free

Come and set yourself free,

From the bondage of drugs,

From the shackles of alcohol,

And find your inner peace.

You are a precious soul,

You are here with a purpose;

You exist for a reason,

And your life has meaning.

Will power is all that's needed,

To break free from the chains,

That bind you to addiction,

And find your inner strength.

You can do it with your heart,

You are tenacious, a fighter;

Victory awaits for you,

And your future is brighter.

Your mission yet to accomplish,

Your goals in life to achieve,

Peace will rule your destination,

And your soul will thrive free.

3. Human heart

The heart’s desire is a bottomless pit,

An unquenchable thirst for deep appetite;

A yearning for wealth that holds stability,

Heart hunger, money is never enough.

Power and pride is what the soul desires,

Power to rule and be truly appreciated;

Power over others through wealth’s sway,

Power over family through golden grip.

The desire of the flesh is infinite,

Flesh holds a relentless demand-

Fuels adultery, Lust’s fashion trend,

Unpredictable schemes lurk behind.

Money seems to be the sceptre to rule;

Money is the devil that ruins the family,

Money is the poison of human hearts,

Money is the solution to fleshy desire.

Replenishing God’s purpose of our existence,

Renewing wisely our lives’ primary goal.

Refocusing hearts, accountability awaits.

Reviewing our lives to God for eternal rest.

4. Beat

A beat is music's rhythmic sound,

Produced by a tuning fork's beat.

Compression and depression create

A rhythm that's truly sweet.

A beat is heard when resonance occurs,

Crest and trough in sync, vibrations pure.

Synchronized sound and air entwine,

Producing a beat that's truly divine.

In sound's realm, a beat is born anew,

Symphony of vibrations, old and true.

Rhythmic pulse echoes, strong and clear,

Beat resonates, banishing all fear.

Every beat tells a story in time,

Rhythmic narrative, sublime and prime.

Beat weaves sound and rhyme's tapestry,

Symphony echoing, wild and free.

Music's heartbeat, a beat we find,

Rhythmic pulse is always on our mind.

Beat woven into our kind's fabric,

Rhythmic sound, forever aligned.

5. Wings of an angel

Wings of an angel, made to fly,

Uniqueness beyond our imagination's sky,

Moulded carefully by the Creator's hands,

Purity and holiness, in whiteness stands.

I wonder, if I had these wings to fly,

I'd flap and soar, up and down, I'd try,

Swirling left and right, testing my flight,

Thrilling and exciting, pure delight.

With every beat, I'd rise and glide,

Diving down, rising up, side by side,

With angels’ wings, my spirit would roam,

Free and wild, in the heavenly home.

I'd keep on flying, till my strength is spent,

Exhausted, yet exhilarated, my spirit bent,

On exploring the skies, with wings so bright,

A sense of freedom, pure and light.

In the realm of dreams, I'd spread my wings,

And let the wind beneath, my soul sing,

For with wings of an angel, I'd be free,

And flying would be my destiny.

B)5 Stories

1. The Moon and the Sun

In the beginning, the Moon and the Sun were siblings, born to the same parents. They lived peacefully in heaven, walking and eating together in harmony. Their parents were overjoyed to have such loving children.

After their parents passed away, the Moon and the Sun became orphans. They continued to live together, but an evil thought soon crept into the Moon's mind. He became attracted to his sister, the Sun, and as this desire grew stronger, he decided to approach her and confess his feelings.

The Sun was outraged when she heard the Moon's words. She stood up, her anger ablaze, and poured ashes into the Moon's eyes. "How dare you speak such words to me, your elder sister?" she exclaimed. "I, who have cared for you like a mother, fed you, bathed you, and protected you. You will be shamed forever! Leave my sight, and never return."

The Moon felt deep shame and guilt. He fled from their home, afraid to face the Sun again. From that day on, the Moon became a dusty gray color, and lost the courage to walk alongside the Sun. Instead, he walked alone at night.

To this day, during the full moon, we see what appears to be a cloud in the center of the Moon's face. This is, in fact, the ashes that the Sun poured into the Moon's eyes, a reminder of his shame and her eternal displeasure.

2.Courage to be free

In ancient times, a cat was bound to a tiger, serving as its loyal companion and apprentice. The tiger taught the cat the art of hunting, from stalking prey to delivering the fatal blow. The cat proved to be a quick learner, mastering the techniques with ease.

One day, the tiger fell ill in the heart of the forest. His wife, concerned for his well-being, asked, "What can I get for you to eat? Perhaps a juicy animal to lift your spirits?" The tiger declined, feeling too unwell to consume anything.His wife inquired about his symptoms, and the tiger described feeling cold and experiencing pain throughout his body. She offered to fetch liquor or medicine, but the tiger refused, suggesting that a warm fire might be the only thing to alleviate his suffering.

His wife hesitated, fearing that approaching humans for fire would put her in danger. The tiger instructed her to send the cat instead. The cat set off toward the human village, entering a house where a family was enjoying lunch. The cat savored the discarded fish bones and, enchanted by the humans' generosity, asked if it could stay with them.

The humans agreed, offering the cat food and shelter in exchange for its help in protecting their home from pests. The cat accepted, and the tiger, still awaiting its return, grew enraged. "If I ever encounter that ungrateful creature," the tiger vowed, "I will devour every last bone in its body."

From that day forward, the tiger harbored a deep-seated hatred for cats, consuming them whole whenever the opportunity arose. Meanwhile, the cat lived out its days in the human village, content in its newfound home.

Lesson

Independence requires courage and sacrifice : The cat had to be brave enough to leave its familiar life with the tiger and adapt to a new environment with humans.

3.The cunning boy’s escape

In ancient times, a young boy would often wander into the forest to feast on wild berries that grew at the base of a towering tree. One day, while attempting to climb the tree, the boy was spotted by a massive bear.The bear swooped in, scooped up the boy, and carried him back to its den. The bear's intention was to feed the boy to its cubs, allowing them to kill and cook him at their leisure. However, the cubs were more interested in playing with the boy than eating him.

One day, after the boy had eaten some blackberries, his lips turned a deep purple color. The bear cubs were fascinated by this and asked the boy how he had achieved the dark color. The boy cleverly replied, "I boiled some water, then poured it into my mouth, and that's how my lips turned this color."

The cubs were eager to replicate this and asked the boy to help them. The boy agreed, but with ulterior motives. He boiled the water, then tricked the cubs into letting him pour the scalding water into their mouths, ultimately killing them.The boy then cooked and devoured the cubs, hiding in the corner to observe the bear's return. When the bear arrived, it ate the remaining meat, unaware of the true nature of the meal. Only when it discovered the heads of its cubs at the bottom of the pot did the bear realize its horrific mistake.

The boy emerged from his hiding spot, taunting the bear, "Mother Bear Laloo, you ate your own children! You consumed your own flesh and blood!" The bear's anguished cries echoed through the forest, and the boy's cunning escape became a cautionary tale.

Lesson:

Survival instincts can lead to tough decisions: The boy's desire to survive led him to make a difficult choice, which had significant consequences.

4.The deadly dip

In the olden days, a hen and a crow were unlikely friends. Every morning, the crow would visit the hen in the village, and they would forage for food together in the garbage dump. They would chat and laugh, enjoying each other's company.

However, one day, the crow's gaze turned from friendship to fascination. She began to notice the hen's plumpness and thought to herself, "The hen and her chicks would make a delicious meal. But how can I catch them? I'm not strong enough to overpower them."

The crow concocted a plan, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. One hot day, she approached the hen and said, "Dear hen, don't you feel suffocated in this heat?" The hen replied, "It's unbearable. I feel so weak." The crow suggested, "Let's take a bath in the river to cool off. We can drink water and enjoy the scenery." The hen agreed, and they made their way to the river.

At the riverbank, the crow took a bath, flapping her wings and splashing water everywhere. The hen, however, hesitated. The crow taunted her, saying, "You're so foolish! You'd be even more beautiful if you took a bath." The crow's persuasive words convinced the hen to take the plunge. She flapped her wings, just like the crow, and her chicks followed suit. But as soon as they emerged from the water, the hen collapsed, shivering and weak.

The crow seized the opportunity, snatching the hen's chicks one by one and devouring them. The hen, realizing her mistake, lamented, "I regret being friends with you, you evil creature."

From that day on, the hen and the crow became sworn enemies, and the hen never forgot the painful lesson she learned. She became afraid of taking baths, fearing that she would meet a similar fate.

Lesson: This story teaches us to be cautious of false friendships and to trust our instincts. Sometimes, what appears to be friendship can be a disguise for ulterior motives.

5.Unity against the giant

In the ancient days, a fearsome she-giant roamed the land, leaving a trail of death and destruction in her wake. Her insatiable hunger for human flesh struck fear into the hearts of villagers, who whispered tales of her terror in hushed tones.

The she-giant's origins were shrouded in mystery, but one thing was certain: her presence was a harbinger of doom. Her footsteps shook the earth, and her roar sent tremors through the forest. Despite her formidable powers, brave warriors and kings dared to challenge the she-giant. Though they fought valiantly, they ultimately fell to her might. Yet, their courage inspired others to take up the fight.

In the face of this monstrous threat, the Khasi people discovered the strength of unity. Their king, wise and just, rallied his people, saying, "We shall stand together, as one, to defend our land and our lives. We shall not falter, we shall not fail."

With bows and arrows at the ready, the Khasi warriors stood firm against the she-giant's attack. Their bravery was rewarded, as they struck the final blow, ending the monster's reign of terror.

As the she-giant's lifeblood soaked into the earth, it transformed into coal, a reminder of the darkness that had threatened to consume them. Yet, from that darkness emerged a newfound appreciation for the power of unity and courage.

The Khasi people rejoiced, knowing they had saved their land from the she-giant's destruction. Though new challenges would arise, they stood ready, armed with the knowledge that together, they could overcome even the most daunting foes.

This tale of the she-giant's attack serves as a reminder that courage, unity, and determination can vanquish even the most terrifying threats.
