සඳයි තරුවයි පායු රැයක

ගෙදර දොර කඩ අබියසක

අහස බලමින් ඉදන් බිමක

සිතන්නට ඔබ ගැන තිබූ දෙයක්

හෙමි හෙමින් අපෙ මතකය දිය කරනවද?

හෙමි හෙමින් මාව ඈතට යවනවද?

හෙමි හෙමින් මාව විශ්වාස නැතිවෙනවද?

හෙමි හෙමින් මට ආදරේ නැති වෙනවද?

නින්දක් නැහැ පේන මානෙක එන්නේ

ප්‍රශ්න පත්‍රයක් උබ දී යන්නේ

මේවට උත්තර මම කෝම හොයන්නේ

උබ නම් තුටින් නිදියන්නේ

ඇයි අපෙ මතකය දිය කර අරින්නේ

ඇයි මාව ඈතට යවන්නේ

ඇයි මාව විශ්වාස නොකරන්නේ

ඇයි මට ආදරේ නැති වෙන්නේ

මම ඉන්න ආස උබත් එක්ක විතරයි

මම ඉන්න ආස උබ ලගමයි

මම ආදරේ උබට විතරයි

මම දන්නේ පිළිතුරු එපමණයි
