නුඹේ ප්‍රේමය = රතු පාට බූන්දි ගොටුවක්

දහදියෙන් පිරුණු සතියකට පස්සෙත්

ඉර බහින් නැති සිකුරාදා හවසක්

දෙතුන් දාහක රසට යට නැති වුණ

හතේ බස් එකත් අමුතූම සුවඳක්

සීයක් දෙසීයට ගමන් මල්ල උඩම ඇති

කියයි මගෙ මූණමයි විහිලුවෙන් රහසක්

දන්නවද මඟ බලන පාන්දර තුනයි තිහ

දින හතක සසරටම නිවන් යන දවසක්
