Star Link

I didn’t need a horoscope to find you

Once made of the same celestial fabric

How could I possibly deny you?

Unless I denied myself too

Ignoring my own reflection would be a conundrum

Amnesia was not enough to make me forget you

My heart rehearses to your remembrance, beat for pulse

If your existence was once just a speculation

I am proof you were in gestation

Yet to reveal the seat of my soul

So I choose consciously, profusely and entirely

Mind, body, soul and everything in-between

That’s a choice that was long stirred in my sea

So the waters above mirror the waters below

Now I look both ways and cannot pull the realms apart

My star linked to yours, so I never forget my way home

Thousands of constellations between us

Yet our thread never got tangled or severed

The force of your ascended heart tugs me along

Your signal channels me from miles away

I still don’t know where I’m going

Call it blind faith, call it spirit led, call it 5th sense

If my compass led me right to you

I would not steer my ship away

So I will follow your trail of stardust

Wherever our soul meets in the infinite ethers

Till our cosmos dissolve as one
