දවස් හා හවස්

හැමදාම හවස ඉර බහින බැල්කනිය

රටාවට සුවඳ දෙන උණු කෝපි කෝප්පය

ලී මේස රාමුවේ කැඩුණු වීදුරු බෝතලය

කැඩුණු බව හංඟන ලිලී මල් තුන හතර

දිය කරන තීන්තෙන් ඉස්තරම් පෑන් තුඩ

නුඹ නමට වෙන් වුණු මගේ දිනපොතේ

මං ආස කරන ලස්සනම පිටුව

හීනියට හුළං පහරක් විත් ගිහින්

අවුස්සන කෙහෙ රැල්ල කම්මුලට හාදු දෙන

නුඹ ඇවිත් සීරුවෙන් ඉවත් කර

හිස සිඹින ස්වර්ගයක සිතුවිල්ල

ගෑවෙන නොගෑවෙන ඒ පිරුණු උරහිස

සරාගී දැස් ඈතට විඳා තොල ගාන

සීනි අඩු තිත්ත වැඩි කළු කෝපි කෝප්පය

සඳ ඇවිත් ඇති කියන තුරුම පිළිසඳරවල

ඔහේ ඈතට දුවන දීර්ඝ නිහැඬියාව

අපරාදේ ගෙවෙන්නට නොතිබුණා නොවෙද

කතාවක් නැතිව කතා කළ ඒ දවස් හා හවස්
