மூங்கிலின் காதல்

வானுயர்ந்து அடி படரந்து சிரம் தாழா வளர்ந்திருக்கும்

மூங்கிலின் காதல்

தன்னை இறுகப்பற்றி இழுத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும் நிலத்தின் மீதோ, கட்டமிட்டு கட்டி வைக்கும் வனத்தின் மீதோ அல்ல

மாறாக மூங்கிலின் காதல்,

தன்னை தன் போக்கில் அசைந்தாட விட்டு

தானும் சேர்ந்து இசைபாடும் காற்றின் மீதுதான்

பிடி விடுபட்டு குழலாகி போவது அதன் பயனம்

காற்றுக்கும் கூட குழலோடு காதலாடும் மையல்தான்

ஆனால் ஏனோ வேயுடன் வாய் பேசி உறவாட

ஞானமில்லை

இந்த வேயுருமாறி குழல் வடிவெடுக்கும்வரை காத்திருக்கும்,

மூங்கிலின் காதலாய்..!
