ਕਹਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਰਾਣੀ

ਮੇਰੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਰਾਹ ਚੱਲਣਾ ਏ,

ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦੇਖ ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

ਮੇਰੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਉਂਗਲਾਂ ‘ਚ,

ਤੇਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੀ ਸੁਹਵੇਗੀ।

ਭਾਵੇਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਹਿਚਾਣ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਏ,

ਪਰ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਦਿਵਾਨੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

ਮੇਰੇ ਪੈਰ ਦੀ ਪੰਜੇਬ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ,

ਬੂਟਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਈ ਸੁਹਵੇਗੀ।

ਮੇਰੇ ਬੂਟ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੀ ਅਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੇ,

ਸਮਝੀ ਨਾ ਜੁੱਤੀ ਈ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

ਮੇਰੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਗ ਤੇਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਏ,

ਪਰ ਵੰਗ ਮੇਰੀ, ਕਲਮ ਨਾਲ ਈ ਸੁਹਵੇਗੀ।

ਤੂੰ ਚਾਹਵੇ ਫੁੱਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਦਮਾਂ ‘ਚ,

ਮੈਂ ਕੰਢਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਚੱਲ ਸਫਲ ਹੋਵਾਂਗੀ।

ਮੈਂ ਹੱਸਮੁੱਖ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਵਾਲੀ ਆ,

ਸੋਚੀ ਨਾ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਹੋਵਾਂਗੀ।

ਮੈਂ ਹੱਸਾਂ, ਦੁੱਖ ਲੁਕਾਉਣ ਨੂੰ,

ਸਮਝੀ ਨਾ ਪਾਗਲ ਈ ਹੋਵਾਂਗੀ।

ਕੰਢਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੁੱਲ ਬਣਾਵੇ ਜੋ,

ਉਸ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਰਾਣੀ ਹੋਵਾਂਗੀ।

ਮੈਂ ਅਜ਼ਾਦ ਸੋਚ ਦੀ ਰਾਣੀ ਆ,

ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਕਿੱਦਾਂ ਹੋਵਾਂਗੀ।

ਮੇਰੀ ਕਲਮ ਦਿਵਾਨੀ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਦੀ,

ਓਵੇਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਰੂਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਈ ਸੋਹਵੇਗੀ।

ਮੈਂ ਵੱਗਦੀ ਨਦੀ ਆ ਸੁਣ ਸੱਜਣਾ,

ਤੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਦੇ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਨਾਲ ਈ ਖਲੋਵਾਂਗੀ।

ਮੈਂ ਅਜ਼ਾਦ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹਵਾਂ,

ਪਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਿਨ ਵੀ ਕਿੰਝ ਜਿਉਵਾਂਗੀ।

ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਜੋ,

ਤੇਰੇ ਸਿਰਲੇਖ ਨਾਲ ਈ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

ਮੇਰੇ ਸੋਚਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਵੰਡਰ ਨੂੰ,

ਤੇਰੀ ਇੱਕ ਝਾਤ ਈ ਸਮੋਵੇਗੀ।

ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਕਹੇ, ਮੈਂ ਨਾਲ ਤੇਰੇ,

ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆ ਖਲੋਵੇਗੀ।

ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਗ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਫਿਕਰ ਨਈ,

ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਹਾਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਰ ਹੋਵਾਂਗੀ।

ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣੀ ਨਾ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰੀ ਮੇਰੀ,

ਮੈਂ ਇਕੱਲੀ ਵੀ ਲਹਿਰ ‘ਚ ਲੁਕੀ ਸੁਨਾਮੀ ਹੋਵਾਂਗੀ।
