स्वतंत्रता अभी बाकी है
स्वतंत्रता अभी बाकी है,
१९४७ में मकान तो बन गया,
पर उसे घर बनाना अभी बाकी है।
स्वतंत्रता अभी बाकी है।
रामायण, महाभारत को तो पढ़ लिया,
पर उससे सीख लेना अभी बाकी है।
कलयुग में औरत की सुरक्षा के लिए
कल्कि का जन्म लेना अभी बाकी है।
औरत के हर कदम पर, उठती जो नज़र है,
उससे कदम से कदम मिलाना, अभी बाकी है।
२०२२ का २०२० में, २०२४ के ......,
इंसाफ का, पूर्ण होना अभी बाकी है।
सोने की चिड़िया की पेड़ की,
जड़ों को मज़बूत करना अभी बाकी है।
पंजाब से सिंधु, गुजरात, मराठा, द्रविड़, उत्कल, बंग तक,
औरत के लिए, स्वच्छ पर्यावरण बनाना, अभी बाकी है।
१९४७ में मकान तो बन गया,
पर उसे घर बनाना अभी बाकी है।
स्वतंत्रता अभी बाकी है, स्वतंत्रता अभी बाकी है।
