वैराग्य

प्रस्तावना

यह रचना वैराग्य को बाहरी त्याग नहीं, बल्कि भीतर घटित होने वाली एक सहज अवस्था के रूप में देखने का प्रयास है। कविता और चिंतन के माध्यम से इसमें यह विचार व्यक्त किया गया है कि ओढ़ा हुआ वैराग्य भी एक सूक्ष्म अहंकार बन सकता है, जबकि वास्तविक वैराग्य किसी निर्णय का परिणाम नहीं, बल्कि समर्पण की स्वाभाविक परिणति है। यह रचना प्रेम, समर्पण और आत्म-विलय की उसी आंतरिक यात्रा को अभिव्यक्त करने का एक विनम्र प्रयास है।

तूने रंगा है मोहे तेरे रंग में

तू बसा है मेरे अंग अंग में

मैं भी तू मुझमें भी तू

मैं घुल गई तुझमें

अब ये बता

कहां हूं मैं और

कहां है तू?

मुझे जाना है वहां तक

मेरा अंश रहे न जहां तक

ना सांवरी ना बावरी

ना ली है मैंने गागरी

जिस ओर उठी तेरी अंगुली

मैं तो बस उस डगर चली।।

अपनाया हुआ वैराग्य भी एक वासना है। वह अहंकार का ही छद्म रूप है। बाहर से वह सादगी दिखाई देता है, किंतु भीतर व्यक्ति उसी रूप से बँध जाता है और उसे ही अपना सत्य मान बैठता है।

जड़हीन पौधा जल पाकर भी नहीं बचता,

जड़ वाला पौधा सूखे में भी जीवन खोज लेता है।

वैसा ही है वैराग्य—

जो भीतर से उपजता है, वही जीवन देता है;

ओढ़ा हुआ वैराग्य केवल सूखा छोड़ जाता है।

जो चुना गया है वो बंधन है

जो घट गया वो वैराग्य है

तू घट गया यूं भीतर मेरे

खाली घट मोरा भर गया रे

जग की ओर मैं देखूँ ना

भवसागर मोरा तर गया रे।।
