विकल्प मेरा अधिकार

किस तरह मेरे मौन ने,

हर मोड़ पर मेरी किस्मत लिखी है।

अब मेरे ही फैसलों में इस समाज ने,

मेरी सीमा अनुकूल तथा सीमित रखी है。

विकल्प मुझे अब कोई दिया जाता नहीं,

ना कह पाऊँ कुछ, तो क्यों मान लिया जाता है 'हाँ' ही?

और कहना चाहूँ कुछ, तो कह देते हैं,

"रहो तुम मौन ही।"

क्यों?

क्यों ये सीमाएँ हैं, ये बाँध बनाए?

ये बाँध बने हैं सारे, परिणाम मेरे आधारों के मौन के,

साधी गई चुप्पी कठिन निर्णयों में से।

जनमे हैं ये मेरे ही भीतर,

मेरी ही कोख से。

टूटना होगा इन सारी दीवारों को,

आप एवं समाज की अवास्तविक अपेक्षाओं को।

ये बाँध अब तोड़ने होंगे।

प्रलय सारे विचारों के,

शब्दों से अनंत, सारे आकाश में करने होंगे。

अतः विकल्प आज मैं चुनूँगी,

और पुरुषों को केवल मौन ही रहना होगा।

निर्णयों पे अब मेरी ही मुहर होगी,

और समाज को अब बुद्ध-सा शीतल होना होगा。

सात महीनों से है साथ मेरे,

गर्भ में पल रही यह जान नन्ही,

है यह पुरुषार्थ की जागीर नहीं。

देना इसे जीवन-दान होगा,

सीमित और मौन नहीं, इसे भी लड़ना होगा।

विकृत परंपराओं के विरुद्ध,

सारी स्त्रीहिंसक कृतियों को रोकना होगा。

जन्म इस जान का, रखी गई पहली नींव होगी।

हर स्त्री के मौन से,

हुए हर अत्याचार से,

निकली इंक़लाब की दृढ़ आवाज़ होगी。

घर में मेरे होने को कहा जाता

क्यों लक्ष्मी का वास है?

फिर आँचल में होना उसी लक्ष्मी का,

मेरे चरित्र पर दाग है?

कदाचित यह मेरी नहीं,

कहानी है यह सदियों पुरानी।

बदले युग और बरस कई हैं,

लेकिन औरतों की सारी,

अब भी जीवन वही चारदीवारी है。

आज खुद को ही चुनकर,

इतिहास नहीं दोहराऊँगी।

कठपुतली बनकर उनकी,

नहीं! अब मैं चुप नहीं रह पाऊँगी।

न द्रौपदी समान कृष्ण से चीर माँगूँगी,

न सहूँगी मीरा-सा विरह।

दुर्गा-सा रूप धारण कर,

रक्तबीज का संहार करूँगी।

करूँगी मैं वह सब कुछ,

जो मैं कर सकती हूँ,

पर अब अपराधबोध नहीं सहूँगी मैं।

विकल्प अब चुनना होगा,

स्वतंत्र आज निर्णय लेना होगा।

क़ैद करनी हर वह सोच होगी,

जिसने मुझे निर्णयों के विकल्पों में,

न चुनने का दिया अधिकार होगा।

इस धरा की सोच को अब मैं न रुकने दूँगी,

क़लम होगी सारथी मेरी,

रथ होगा काग़ज़।

सहती हैं जो संघर्ष सदा,

उन स्त्रियों की मैं आवाज़ बनूँगी।

जननी, मैं केवल उस जान की नहीं,

माँ, मैं हर स्त्री की बनूँगी。

तोड़ूँगी मैं स्त्री के न चुन पाने की प्रथा को,

विकल्पों के होने पर भी, निर्णय न ले पाने की विवशता को।

स्त्रियों को अब अपने निर्णय स्वयं लेने होंगे,

अपने आत्मविश्वास, विकास और हर्ष के लिए,

दायरे सारे तोड़,

मौन के हिजाब छोड़,

विकल्पों में से सही चुन,

निर्णय स्वयं लेने होंगे।
