"पुकारती अरावली"
शहरीकरण के नाम पर,
चढाओ न प्रकृति की बलि।
जीने दो, मुझको भी,
पुकारती अरावली।।
माँ जानती है बेटा,
नहीं इतना बेपरवाह।
की देख - सुन न पाए,
अपनी ही माँ की आह।।
जननी है जो तुम्हारी,
कैसे उसे दोगे तिलांजलि।
जीने दो, मुझको भी,
पुकारती अरावली।।
चमक - दमक का तुमने,
गजब रोग है पाया।
खुद को भी तुमने खोया,
जो कमाया वो गवाया।।
अपना ही घर फूंक के,
मनाओ न दिवाली।
जीने दो, मुझको भी,
पुकारती अरावली।।
रहो तुम ऊंचे मकानों में,
खुश, आबाद इंसानों।
हूँ आवास मैं जिनकी,
जीव उनको भी तो मानो।।
उजाडो़ न बेवजह,
पर्वतों की हरियाली।
जीने दो, मुझको भी,
पुकारती अरावली।।
बे होश हो तुम लेकिन,
बेदर्द नहीं हो।
अपनी ही सांसे छीनों,
इतने भी खुदगर्ज नहीं हो।।
इंसानों की बेरुखी से,
मची जंगल में खलबली।
जीने दो, मुझको भी,
पुकारती अरावली।।
बात अब अलग है,
जमाना कुछ और है।
है जानवर दहशत में,
आदमी का शोर है।।
मिट रहीं हैं मांद - गुफाएं,
बन रही बिल्डिंग, सडक, गली।
जीने दो, मुझको भी,
पुकारती अरावली।।
हो सके तो बचा लो,
वो बचपन की कहानी।
थपथपाते हुए तुमको,
सुनाती थी जो नानी।।
वो हिरण, खरगोश, लोमड़ी,
अजगर, गज महाबली।
जीने दो, मुझको भी,
पुकारती अरावली।।
