पावसाचे कोण जाणे काय आहे गुढ.. नभालाही लागते का मातीचीया ओढ.. काळ्या काळ्या ढगातल्या शुभ्र धारा बोलती. पुरे झाली कैद ढगा अता आम्हां सोड की...

मग पावसाने भिजता अंगणातली माती. येतो सुगंध जो असे अत्तराहूनही सुवासी. अश्यातच अचानक येता ऊन पावसात. आभाळाच्या कागदावर सप्तरंग उमटतात.

Meaning

Do not know what is there in rainy season that sky also is eager to meet land

Water that is prisoned in clouds said to the black clouds to leave them

When water wets soil the smell comes which is more fragrant than any perfume

And in such rain if sunrise fall on raindrops rainbow is seen on canvas of sky.
