आज वक्त बहुत कम है

अब वक्त बहुत कम है

मुझे कुछ लिखना है

पर में करू क्या मैं बंद हो चुकी हुं

हा उस घड़ी की तरह

जिसकी नियती हैं चलना

हां उन आँखों की तरह

जिनकी नियती हैं पढ़ना।

सोचा था शायद फिर से लिख पाउं

जो खो गई हुं मैं

फिर से खुद को ढूंढ पाउ

मैं शायरा थी कभी

अब बस कृतिका हुं।

मैं अपनी थी कभी

नजानेअबकौनहुं।
