अदँ ेखा, अन्सनु ा, अनकहा

जानेकहाँमैंखोया था,

ना कि तनी ही रातों सेसोया था।

याद नहींकभी रुका या बेसधु बस रोया था,

ना चाँद ना सरूज का इल्म था,

क्यों सब लग रहा तन्हा और नरक था।

दि नचर्या बस चार दीवारी थी,

अनजान सी लग रही वो दनिुनिया सारी थी।

येलगी कैसी बीमारी थी,

ना भखू ना प्यास थी,

तन सेनि कल रही भाप थी।

कई हफ्तों सेपर्दे सरकाए नहीं,

पि छलेमहीनेपी चाय के कप अभी वही।

धलू की परतेंशीशों पेकई,

जीवि त था म,ैंबस जीनेकी चाह नहीं,

कैद था मैंअदं र मेरेही कहीं।

कहाँतब येचकाचौंध जमाना था,

परि वार और उनका काफि ला था।

प्रेमी और उसका प्यार था,

कहाँतब वो मेरा सच्चा यार था,

येससं ार सब लग रहा माया का जाल था।

समझ आ गया तीन महीनों मेंमझु को गीता का सार सारा, देख रहा था मैंटूटनेके पहलेवो दआु एँपरूी करनेवाला टूटता तारा।

सखू गए थेआसँ ूपानी बि न,

देखा तो गजु र गए थेकई महीने, कई दि न।

तरस गया था मैंमझु को देखेबि न,

देखा आईना तो आई खदु पेही घि न,

कई महीनों सेबाल काटेनहीं, नहाया नहींजानेकि तनेदि न?

फि र एक दि न कुछ सोचकर,

वो पर्दे मनैं ेकरीनेसेसरका दि ए।

बि स्तर की सलवटों पेधपू आनेदी,

सोचकर बातेंसारी मेरेक्षमता के परे,

अब वो बातेंमनैं ेजानेदी।

फि र एक बार भोर का सरूज देखा,

आईनेमेंएक चेहरा मस्ुकुराता देखा।

घर का खराब सामान बाहर फेंका, चाय का कप वो धोकर दराज मेंरखा, परूा मनैं ेउस रात का चाँद आधा देखा।

नि कलकर घर के बाहर, नदि या कि नारे, बाँध तलेसमस्त ब्रह्मांड देखा।

पास बठै ा वो यार देखा।

प्रेमी की आखँ ों मेंफि र एक बार प्यार देखा। सि र पेमाँका आचँ ल देखा।

देखा सब, और इत्मि नान सेदेखा।

कि तनेही दि न खदु को बि खरता देखा, कहकर “यार, डि प्रेशन कुछ नहीं होता,” ज़बु ान को दि ल सेनज़रेंचरुाता देखा, मनैं ेखदु को सब सेझठु लाता देखा।
